El Dorado Furniture is a three-generation-old business. The beginning of the company dates back to the 1920's in Cuba. Simon Capó grew his small business into a chain of five furniture stores named Casa Capó. Once in the U.S., father and sons started their own furniture manufacturing business. The store they opened was named after the boat that freed the Capós from Cuba, El Dorado. The first store was opened in Miami’s Little Havana. At the present time, the corporate office of the company is based in Miami Gardens.
El Dorado Furniture is a leader in the industry and continues to grow in South Florida. El Dorado Boulevard is a showroom designed with realistic building facades, old fashioned street lamps and benches. It opens into individual specialized furniture stores or galleries providing a large array of quality furniture products.
